Morphological and horticultural traits

1. PlantjA spherical ball shaped shrub with dense branches, growth vigorously in hot area under
medium shade. Buds spindle-like shape, sprouting more than 3 times a year.

2. LeafjYoung leaf is light yellow green color, while mature leaf is yellow green. Leaf medium size,
abruptly pointed, yellow green above (RHS147A), pale yellow green beneath (RHS147B). Leaf in

branches arranged densely as
2-ranks only.

3. Branch: Many branchlets with
great fresh and dry weight,

containing high content of both
taxol and 10-deacetylbaccatin.
