Morphological and horticultural traits

1. Plant: A fan-shaped shrub with thin branches, growth vigorously. Tree height medium, and

crown width medium. Forest Tree
2. Branch: Few longer green branches with medium quantity of branchlets, growing up with

few angles, and sprouting 2 times a year.
3. Leaf arrangement phyllotaxy: Leaves in trunk and branches arrange 2-ranks with little
angle or plane.

4. Leaf: leaf density in branches medium, leaf angle against to stem small, elliptic dormant
bud sprouting timing medium, leaf shape slightly curve, leaf tip attenuate, leaf length and

width medium long, petiole medium long, leaf surface dark green (RHS139A), beneath
margin dark green (RHS139A), and stomatic bands deep green (RHS139B).
5. Heat tolerance strong, fresh and dry branch production medium, taxol concentration low,

and 10-deacetylbacctin III concentration high.
