The AFA indicates that since 2020, it has worked with food manufacturer to provide various champion fried rice products. From shredded pork fried rice, roast pork fried rice, to sambal chicken fried Rice, many champion fried rice products have received rave reviews from consumers, accumulating over 1.4 million units sold. To follow up on this success, and in light of the need for convenient, ready-to-eat food during the pandemic, the AFA once again made the winners of the third “Taiwan Fried Rice King” into frozen and chilled ready-made meal to present consumers with more ways to enjoy this most known rice delicacy.
The AFA indicates that to enable safe and tasty enjoyment of this national delicacy, this year’s champion fried rice uses TAP-certified Taiken No. 9 variety. The microwave product is quick frozen to perfectly preserve its champion flavor while being convenient, healthful, and taking no time to prepare. The winner of "Creative Division"—the China Spice at Four Points by Sheraton Linkou collaborates with 7-ELEVEN to roll out “Spicy Chicken Fried Rice with Pesto Sauce” at 6,400 7-ELEVEN outlets. With simple microwave heating, the unique flavor that combines the sweet, sour, and spicy flavor of Sichuan spicy chicken and western pesto risotto will be right on your table. On the other hand, we have the co-creation of “King’s Cook” food company and “Classic Division” winner Yi Jen Fan restaurant. They apply freezing technology to develop "Basil Pork Neck Fried Rice with Sesame Oil”, which will gradually hit the shelf of nationwide 7-ELEVEN, Carrefour, and a-mart.
