Morphological and horticultural traits Ԍᗳ

1. Plant type: Indeterminate vine type.
2. Stem: Medium length and thickness of seedling hypocotyls; Strong branching capacity.

3. Leaf: Trifoliolate with three leaflets; Triangle-shaped top leaflet with medium size and green color.

4. Flower: White flower; First inflorescence is located at 8th node; Each inflorescence had about 5 Legume Crops
flowers.

5. Fresh pod: Fresh pod-used; Light green pod with smooth surface and stringless; 21 cm in length,

1.0 cm in width, 0.9 cm in thickness, and 16 g in single pod weight averagely, and each pod had 8
seeds; The lowest height for first pod is 50 cm; Ovary shape in cross section, green flesh with fine
texture, and high sugar content (7.2oBrix).

6. Seed: Kidney-shaped seed in longitudinal section; White seed coat with yellow-brown spot; The

average weight per 100 seeds is 36.5 g.
7. The optimal sawing seasons on lowland of central or south Taiwan are spring and autumn. It also

could be cultivated on middle altitude area in summer season.
