Subject: This is to announce that Hungary and Chile is hereby added to the list of countries permitted to export to Taiwan organic agricultural products and organic agricultural processed products specified in Paragraph 1, Article 6, Agricultural Production and Certification Act. The announcement comes into force upon promulgation.
Legal Basis: Paragraph 1, Article 6, Agricultural Production and Certification Act
Contents:
1.The certifications made abroad by any certification body accredited by the countries mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall also be accepted on the condition that such certifications are granted based on their organic-product regulations and technical specifications. The acceptance shall be limited to the product scopes published in the announcement.
2.The list of countries permitted to export to Taiwan organic agricultural products and organic agricultural processed products and the scopes of products specified in Paragraph 1, Article 6, Agricultural Production and Certification Act are updated as shown in the Attachment.
